Review:
I was excited when I first saw this especially considering the price point. I took it home and opened it, the consistency and feel was similar to Urban Decay Primer potion so I was very amped up.

It takes a few seconds to dry once it is applied and I have to say this product feels a little greasy very unlike UDPP (urban decay's primer potion) . Eyeshadow feels a little slick going not as smooth and silky as with my favorite primer UDPP. It took a bit more work to blend in than with my other primer.

The eyeshadow does not show as vibrant with this primer and that was disappointing, also within an hour of wearing I had slight creasing in the inner corner of my eye, by the end of the day (12 hrs later) my eyeshadow had creased completely and faded, this never happens with UDPP.

Verdict:
I recommend this primer for people with dry to normal skin, for those of us with oily skin this product will not work and it's a good thing the price point is low because it is disappointing. My verdict is I'm still sticking with UDPP even if it costs almost four times as much.

I cannot believe it has almost been a year since my last post. I have come to learn that I am not as multi-tasked as I would love to be. I can keep track of most things efficiently but when I take on too much then stuff starts falling through imaginary cracks...so quick update on what I have been up to since October 24th 2009

• Job hunting to no avail... (anyone have any leads?)
• Babysitting my 3 yr old nephew ...that is until my sister lost her job
• No new Youtube videos...been way to busy
• Opened a boutique in town...clothing, accessories, makeup yay!
• Closed Boutique down...not enough business and the location referred to as "prime real estate" here in town is really just a seldomly traveled street with high rent.
• Bought makeup...duh!
  
• Learned I had a real cosmetics addiction ...dont want to get help
• Older sister getting married yay!
• Helping sister with wedding details...boo!
• Boyfriend keeps hinting at getting engaged...double yay!
• Making super duper sparkly and fun jewelry that I have YET to post online!
• and I am sure several other things that I am forgetting...

Urban Decay Book Of Shadows II

This makeup addict has been awfully quiet lately! Well I have a blockbuster review for you! Let me backtrack a bit as the story needs to be told.
I tweeted about wanting this item a while ago, actually I think I tweeted about wanting it the minute I knew it was available. Unfortunately as I am a casualty of the recession I have had to cut back on my spending especially in the cosmetics area *sniff*.

My little sister (she is 17) just started her first job, she was paid on Friday and of course being a teenager and getting her first paycheck she wanted to hit the mall! At the mall she told me she wanted to hit Sephora for a Primer Potion (ack! Sephora is like a Candy Store for me I have to resist temptation!) The little trickster handed me the Sephora bag and said "I know you want this" and I almost fainted right there in the store! She is a sweet heart and I was so surprised I wanted to cry, her first paycheck and she wanted to fuel my addiction lol.

Well, here it is the review. 16 beautifully pigmented shockingly stunning colors from Urban Decay. The Book Of Shadows Volume II. This is a MUST have for any lady that loves makeup. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish some matte shades had been included.
